This bike started out as a 2007 103ci. 6 speed FLHTPI Indiana State Police Elektraglide. It was tore down and put together over a 6 month period. The engine and tranny stayed stock for the most part other then some changes to the gear ratio from baker to highten the high end with the 6 speed, installed an easy clutch and a harley race tuner with a Bubs true dual exust system.
As far as the body we removed the police bags and I got some used standard bags and added Klock Works bag extensions, streched rear and front fenders and filler panels. The panels were to short so we custom extended those to fit the bag length. We cleaned up all the front lighting by installing the front mirrors with the signals in them and added the led lights to the rear that encompass the brakes and turn signals. We also added a Klock Works windshield for the awesome aerodynamic look. I also installed an onboard Arnott air suspension system that everyone loves. Slam It for that cool low rider look then Raise it on the fly for a smooth highway ride. I went for the 21" front wheel and 18" rear with RC Component Savage Rims. Not to mention lots of chrome from Kuryakyn.
I had the seat custom stiched with the AC/DC logo and "For Those About To Rock" the theme was built around the Album of the same name with the cannons on the front. I had Billet Kats cut me a custom Derby cover to match. The paint work was done by Henleys Kustom Paint of Indianapolis. The same guys that do the Colts bikes you see that come on the field for all the home games. The most unique thing about the paint was how they incorporated the AC/DC logo into the graphics, you have to look close in the photos. My bike is featured on thier website www.henleyskustompainting.com/projects.asp it was also featured as a bike of the week on a local bike TV show called Steel Horse as well as receiving Best of Show at a local ABATE event last year as well as being featured in the ABATE Magazine. For security the bike boasts a hidden onboard GPS tracking system.
